Article 59 novodecies of the French Customs Code

Customs officers and officers of the national police and the national gendarmerie responsible for border policing missions may communicate to each other, on request or spontaneously, all information and documents held or collected in the course of their respective missions relating to border crossings, within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2016/399 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 9 March 2016 on a Union Code on the rules governing the movement of persons across borders (Schengen Borders Code).

Les agents des douanes et les agents de la police nationale et de la gendarmerie nationale chargés des missions de police aux frontières peuvent se communiquer, sur demande ou spontanément, tous les renseignements et tous les documents détenus ou recueillis à l’occasion de leurs missions respectives en matière de franchissement des frontières, au sens du règlement (UE) 2016/399 du Parlement européen et du Conseil du 9 mars 2016 concernant un code de l’Union relatif au régime de franchissement des frontières par les personnes (code frontières Schengen).
