Article 670-3 of the French Code of civil procedure

Where, for service abroad carried out at the behest of the court registry, a translation of the document, or of any other document, appears necessary, the translator shall be requested by the director of the court registry or the person in charge of the court registry.

The translation is remunerated pursuant to Article R. 122 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

The costs incurred by the service of a document abroad at the behest of the court registry are taxed, advanced and recovered as costs referred to in 13° of I of Article R. 93 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

Article 670-3

Lorsque, pour la notification à l’étranger accomplie à la diligence du greffe de la juridiction, la traduction de l’acte, ou de toute autre pièce, paraît nécessaire, le traducteur est requis par le directeur de greffe ou le responsable du greffe de la juridiction.

La traduction est rémunérée en application de l’article R. 122 du code de procédure pénale.

Les frais occasionnés par la notification d’un acte à l’étranger à la diligence du greffe de la juridiction sont taxés, avancés et recouvrés au titre des frais visés au 13° du I de l’article R. 93 du code de procédure pénale.
