Article 695-9-16 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

Enforcement of a freezing order may be refused if the certificate is not produced, is incomplete or clearly does not correspond to the freezing order. However, the investigating judge may set a time limit for the author of the order to produce, complete or rectify the certificate, accept an equivalent document or, if he considers that he has sufficient information, dispense the judicial authority of the issuing State from any further production.

L’exécution d’une décision de gel peut être refusée si le certificat n’est pas produit, s’il est établi de manière incomplète ou s’il ne correspond manifestement pas à la décision de gel. Toutefois, le juge d’instruction peut impartir un délai à l’auteur de la décision pour que le certificat soit produit, complété ou rectifié, accepter un document équivalent ou, s’il s’estime suffisamment éclairé, dispenser l’autorité judiciaire de l’Etat d’émission de toute production complémentaire.
