Article 696-102 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

When deciding to recognise the European protection order, the liberty and custody judge determines the protective measures provided for by French law to ensure the victim’s protection. The measure adopted corresponds, as far as possible, to that adopted in the issuing State.

It shall rule by order specifying the measure to be complied with on the territory of the Republic and recalling the provisions of article 434-42-1 of the Penal Code .

Lorsqu’il décide de reconnaître la décision de protection européenne, le juge des libertés et de la détention détermine les mesures de protection prévues par la législation française pour assurer la protection de la victime. La mesure adoptée correspond, dans la mesure la plus large possible, à celle adoptée dans l’Etat d’émission.

Il statue par ordonnance précisant la mesure à respecter sur le territoire de la République et rappelant les dispositions de l’article 434-42-1 du code pénal .
