The judicial authority which ordered the placement under judicial supervision may, before the expiry of the period of execution of the judicial supervision provided for by the law of the executing State, of its own motion or at the request of the competent authority of that State, notify that authority that it has not released the decision to place the person under judicial supervision and that it is necessary to extend the monitoring of the supervision measures initially ordered.
The judicial authority that ordered the placement under judicial supervision shall respond as soon as possible to any request for information from the competent authority of the executing State on the need to maintain the measures ordered.
In the cases mentioned in the first two subparagraphs, it shall also specify the length of time for which monitoring of the measures ordered is likely to remain necessary.
