The juge des libertés et de la détention shall have jurisdiction, under the conditions laid down in this chapter, to rule on applications for recognition of judicial supervision orders issued by the competent authorities of other Member States. It shall be competent, in the event of a subsequent decision to extend or modify the judicial supervision measures, to adapt these measures in accordance with Article 696-75 or to refuse to follow measures that are not among those mentioned in Articles 696-50 and 696-51.
It shall also be competent to enforce and monitor recognised measures and to stop the enforcement and monitoring of measures whose release has been ordered by the competent authority of the issuing State.
If the liberty and custody judge deems it necessary to hear the person placed under judicial supervision, he or she may use the means of telecommunication mentioned in Article 706-71, whether the person is living in the territory of the Republic or abroad.
