Article 696-83 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

The public prosecutor shall without delay inform the competent authority of the issuing State of final decisions taken pursuant to the first paragraph of Article 696-70.

Where the decision consists of a refusal to recognise and enforce the measures ordered, or involves an adaptation of the measures ordered, the public prosecutor shall also inform the competent authority in the issuing State of the reasons for the decision.

Le ministère public informe sans délai l’autorité compétente de l’Etat d’émission des décisions définitives prises en application du premier alinéa de l’article 696-70.

Lorsque la décision consiste en un refus de reconnaissance et d’exécution des mesures ordonnées, ou comporte une adaptation des mesures ordonnées, le procureur de la République informe également l’autorité compétente de l’Etat d’émission des motifs de la décision.
