Article 696-87 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

Where the liberty and custody judge has forwarded several notices pursuant to the second paragraph of Article 696-86 concerning the same person to the competent authority of the issuing State without the latter having taken a decision to review, withdraw or modify the judicial supervision measures ordered and without an arrest warrant or any other decision having the same effect having been ordered, he or she may invite the competent authority of the issuing State to take such a decision, granting it a reasonable period of time in which to do so.

Lorsque le juge des libertés et de la détention a transmis plusieurs avis en application du deuxième alinéa de l’article 696-86 concernant la même personne à l’autorité compétente de l’Etat d’émission sans que celle-ci ait pris de décision de réexamen, de retrait, de modification des mesures de contrôle judiciaire ordonnées et sans qu’un mandat d’arrêt ou toute autre décision ayant le même effet ait été ordonné, il peut inviter l’autorité compétente de l’Etat d’émission à rendre une telle décision, en lui accordant un délai raisonnable pour le faire.
