Article 696-96 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

The judicial authority which issued the decision on the basis of which the public prosecutor issued a European protection order shall inform the latter:

1° Of any modification or revocation of that measure;

2° Of the transfer of the execution of that measure to another Member State, known as the supervising State, pursuant to the articles 696-48 to 696-65 or of the articles 764-1 to 764-17, where this transfer has given rise to the adoption of measures on the territory of the supervising State.

The public prosecutor shall amend or revoke the European protection order accordingly, and shall inform the competent authority of the State of execution of the European protection order without delay.

L’autorité judiciaire qui a prononcé la décision sur le fondement de laquelle le procureur de la République a émis une décision de protection européenne informe celui-ci :

1° De toute modification ou révocation de cette mesure ;

2° Du transfèrement de l’exécution de cette mesure à un autre Etat membre, appelé Etat de surveillance, en application des articles 696-48 à 696-65 ou des articles 764-1 à 764-17, lorsque ce transfert a donné lieu à l’adoption de mesures sur le territoire de l’Etat de surveillance.

Le procureur de la République modifie ou révoque en conséquence la décision de protection européenne, et en informe sans délai l’autorité compétente de l’Etat d’exécution de la décision de protection européenne.
