Article 713-44 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

In the event of non-compliance with the prohibitions or obligations imposed, notorious misconduct, a new conviction or refusal by the convicted person of a necessary change to the conditions of enforcement, the sentence enforcement judge may either limit his leave of absence or order the person to be imprisoned for the duration of the sentence still to be served. The decision is taken in accordance with the provisions of article 712-6.

En cas d’inobservation des interdictions ou obligations qui lui sont imposées, d’inconduite notoire, de nouvelle condamnation ou de refus par le condamné d’une modification nécessaire des conditions d’exécution, le juge de l’application des peines peut soit limiter ses autorisations d’absence, soit ordonner l’emprisonnement de la personne pour la durée de la peine restant à exécuter. La décision est prise conformément aux dispositions de l’article 712-6.
