For each case entered in the general register, the court clerk shall compile a file on which shall be entered, in addition to the particulars appearing in that register, the name of the judge or judges hearing the case and, where applicable, the names of the persons representing or assisting the parties.
All deeds, notes and documents relating to the case are added to the file, after being endorsed by the judge or clerk.
Decisions to which the case gives rise, notices and letters sent by the court are mentioned or copied into the file.
Where the proceedings are oral, the parties’ submissions or the reference they make to submissions they would have made in writing are noted in the file or recorded in minutes.
