Candidates for the specific part of the third-degree state diploma in sports education must pass the following tests:
A. – Organisation, management and responsible teaching of at least two national training courses of at least thirty-five hours each, under the supervision of the national technical director or his representative (coefficient 3).
These courses cover :
– athlete training;
– management training.
Candidates are judged on the design, organisation and running of these courses and on the report they produce.
The final overall mark is awarded on the basis of the general report drawn up by the national technical director or his representative or, in his absence, by the high-level technical manager mentioned.
B. – Submission of a dissertation on a prospective study of the organisation of the sports option with regard to competitions, management training, detection, selection and preparation of high-level sportsmen and women in all their technical, administrative and social aspects. This document must be at least twenty-five pages long (duration: one hour; coefficient 3).
