The pre-training course is organised under the responsibility of the regional director of youth, sport and community life. Its purpose is to assess the candidate’s technical and teaching abilities, and to check their leadership and safety skills, enabling them to take part in supervising the activity corresponding to the chosen option. It also provides an opportunity to identify training needs and to validate any prior learning with a view to reducing the course load. The course is assessed in accordance with the procedures defined by the regional director of youth, sport and community life.
