Training units are set up within the framework of structures approved by the Regional Director of Youth, Sport and the Voluntary Sector in accordance with the same procedures as those set out in article A. 212-136.
The specific training includes instruction on sport for the disabled. This training is given in collaboration with the sports federations, holders of the delegation instituted in article L. 131-14, for the practice of physical and sports activities by disabled people.
In order to sit the final examination for the first degree, provided for in article A. 212-147, the candidate must have completed one or more training units in each of the following compulsory areas:
I.-Initiation and technical improvement;
II.-Pedagogy for competitive sports;
III.-Pedagogy adapted to leisure sports;
IV.-Environment of the sport concerned: regulations, natural environment, economic and social environment.
To sit the final examination for the second degree provided for in article A. 212-147, candidates must have completed one or more training units in each of the following compulsory areas:
I.-In-depth technical training;
II.-Management and competition training;
III.-Executive training;
IV.-Environment of the sport concerned.
To sit the final examination for the third degree provided for in article A. 212-147, candidates must have undergone one or more training units in each of the following compulsory areas:
I.-Foresight study;
II.-Dissertation, research and methodology;
III.-Foreign languages.
They must also have supervised at least two national training courses.
The specific orders may, depending on the sports option in the three levels, propose compulsory or optional areas in addition to the above.
