The purpose of the aptitude test to which the Prefect may decide to subject the applicant in whole or in part, under the conditions laid down in article R. 212-90-1 and in 3° of article R. 212-93, is to check the applicant’s ability to supervise participants safely. It consists of two tests:
1° The performance test of the technical ability test provided for in Title VII of the amendedOrder of 26 April 2013 relating to the specific training for the State diploma of national Nordic cross-country ski instructor, which constitutes the technical safety test;
2° A test to verify theoretical and practical knowledge and safety skills.
If the declarant is subject to both tests, the performance test of the technical ability test is assessed first. If the declarant fails, he may not take the second test.
