Article A322-148 of the French Sports Code

The minimum age required to practise sport parachuting is fifteen.

With the exception of licence-holders of federations with parachuting delegations, parachutists must present, at the time of registration, a medical certificate stating that they are not contraindicated in the practice of parachuting, as mentioned in article L. 231-2-3. Parachutists who are minors must also present written authorisation from their legal representatives.

L’âge minimum requis pour la pratique du parachutisme sportif est de quinze ans.

A l’exception des licenciés de la fédération ayant reçu délégation pour le parachutisme, les pratiquants doivent présenter, lors de leur inscription, un certificat médical de non-contre indication à la pratique du parachutisme mentionné à l’article L. 231-2-3. Les pratiquants mineurs doivent présenter en outre une autorisation écrite de leurs représentants légaux.
