Article A322-152 of the French Sports Code

Self-sufficient skydivers in an establishment keep a record of their jumps in a special logbook that is regularly stamped by an instructor with the necessary qualifications. They must have a minimum of one hundred jumps and have demonstrated the following skills:

-be able to take part in an autonomous practice session ;

-be capable of ensuring the safety of the release during an autonomous practice session;

master free-fall ;

-be capable of designing and carrying out a canopy navigation programme from parachute opening to landing;

-be able to pack your main canopy and check your equipment;

-have fundamental theoretical knowledge relating to the activity.

Le pratiquant autonome au sein d’un établissement répertorie ses sauts sur un carnet spécifique régulièrement visé par un moniteur ayant les qualifications requises. Il doit totaliser cent sauts minimum et avoir démontré les aptitudes suivantes :

-savoir s’intégrer dans une séance de pratique autonome ;

-être capable de veiller à la sécurité du largage en séance de pratique autonome ;

-maîtriser la chute libre ;

-être capable de concevoir et réaliser son programme de navigation sous voile de l’ouverture du parachute jusqu’à l’atterrissage ;

-être capable de plier sa voile principale et de contrôler son équipement ;

-avoir les connaissances théoriques fondamentales liées à l’activité.
