The location of the establishments provided for in article A. 322-64 must be adapted to the purpose of the instruction.
The establishment’s internal regulations define the basin(s) and sailing area(s) that can be used. They also define these areas and basins separately according to the activities practised: cruising school, light yachting, special activities such as funboarding in the waves or speed funboarding.
The basins and sailing areas are chosen so that those practising light pleasure craft and special activities can sail under appropriate supervision within a defined area and, wherever possible, marked out or, failing that, clearly delimited.
For cruising lessons, the sailing programmes are chosen from the sailing basins selected by the school, according to the level of the participants, the objectives to be achieved, the vessels used and the foreseeable weather conditions.
These limits may be extended from time to time subject to prior declaration to the competent administrative authority.
A plan of the basin(s) and navigation area(s) used, together with the information provided for in article A. 322-66 , is attached to the declaration provided for in article R. 322-1.
