Article A512-2 of the French Insurance Code

The registration referred to in Article L. 512-1 is renewed on 1 March each year. Applications for renewal must be submitted by the intermediary or the principal at least one month before the expiry date of the registration. It must be accompanied by the following information

1° The identity of the applicant referred to in 1° and 2° of Article A. 512-1, its address and, where applicable, its legal form, corporate name, acronym, sign and trading name;

2° The registration number and the category or categories concerned;

3° Where applicable, the civil liability insurance certificate provided for in article R. 512-14 ;

4° Where applicable, the financial guarantee certificate provided for in article R. 512-15;

5° Payment of registration fees;

6° For the intermediaries mentioned in I of article L. 513-3, a document less than two months old attesting to their membership of an approved professional association.

Le renouvellement de l’immatriculation, mentionné à l’article L. 512-1, est effectué au 1er mars de chaque année. La demande de renouvellement est adressée par l’intermédiaire ou le mandant au moins un mois avant l’expiration de l’immatriculation. Elle est accompagnée des éléments suivants :

1° L’identité du demandeur mentionné aux 1° et 2° de l’article A. 512-1, son adresse, le cas échéant la forme juridique, la dénomination sociale, le sigle, l’enseigne et le nom commercial ;

2° Le numéro d’immatriculation et la ou les catégories concernées ;

3° Le cas échéant, l’attestation d’assurance de responsabilité civile prévue à l’article R. 512-14 ;

4° Le cas échéant, l’attestation de garantie financière prévue à l’article R. 512-15 ;

5° Le règlement des frais d’inscription ;

6° Pour les intermédiaires mentionnés au I de l’article L. 513-3, un document de moins de deux mois attestant de leur adhésion à une association professionnelle agréée.
