The digital procedural file, defined in article D. 589-1, is archived in a secure electronic archiving system. This system guarantees the preservation, integrity, intelligibility and accessibility of the documents it contains, as well as the traceability of consultation, deposit, migration, deletion and extraction operations.
The integrity of the documents stored in the electronic archiving system is attested by an electronic fingerprint, which guarantees that any subsequent modification to the document to which it is attached is detectable.
Migration operations required to ensure the legibility of documents in digital format over time do not constitute an alteration of their content or form as long as they are traced and give rise to the generation of a new electronic fingerprint of each document.
The fingerprints and traces generated in application of the preceding paragraphs are kept for as long as the document in digital format to which they relate and under conditions that do not allow them to be altered.
