MANAGEMENT
The optional management test is designed to assess the candidate’s ability to manage a department, a sector or a team within a structure of a certain size and/or influence.
Strategic management;
Structure and organisation;
Administration;
Planning;
Decision-making;
Marketing approach;
Internal and external communication;
Team management;
Management control.
At institutional level:
– either the candidate’s management skills through the knowledge and know-how required to successfully implement the management and technical development policy defined by the management of the federation in which he/she works,
– or his/her knowledge of public finance.

– internal and external communication;
– team management.
1.2. Aspects specific to sports federations:
– management of licences;
– management of top-level sport;
– relations between federations and the State…
These aspects will be considered from a triple point of view:
– legal;
– organisational, administrative and technical;
– financial.
2. Public finance:
– budgetary principles;
– the nature and nomenclature of expenditure by the State and local authorities;
– general information on the financing of physical and sporting activities;
– public financing of physical and sporting activities;
– the budget of the Ministry responsible for sport;
– the budget of the départements and regions in the field of physical and sporting activities.
COMPUTING
The programme should enable candidates to acquire skills and knowledge in the use of IT tools in order to:
– prepare publications (documents, federal reviews, scientific articles, etc.);
– use IT applications in their discipline (files, competition management, etc.).
Candidates should be able to:
– create a simple database;
– master DTP software;
– know and use IT applications in their discipline and those that are useful in their research.
