Article Annexe III-8 of the French Sports Code

(Articles R. 322-32 and R. 322-33)

TECHNICAL DOCUMENTATION

The technical documentation referred to in articles R. 322-32 and R. 322-33 includes any useful data on the means implemented by the manufacturer with a view to obtaining the conformity of a PPE-SL with the essential requirements concerning it.

In the case of PPE-SL referred to in article R. 322-33 of this code, the technical documentation includes in particular:

1. A technical manufacturing file consisting of:

a) Overall and detailed drawings of the PPE-SL, accompanied, where appropriate, by calculation notes and test results for prototypes, within the limits of what is necessary to verify compliance with the essential requirements;

b) The exhaustive list of essential health and safety requirements, and harmonised standards or other technical specifications taken into consideration when designing the model.

2. A description of the means of inspection and testing implemented in the manufacturer’s production unit.

3. A copy of the information leaflet referred to in point 1. 4 of Annex III-5.

DOCUMENTATION TECHNIQUE

La documentation technique visée aux articles R. 322-32 et R. 322-33 comporte toute donnée utile sur les moyens mis en œuvre par le fabricant en vue d’obtenir la conformité d’un EPI-SL avec les exigences essentielles le concernant.

Dans le cas des EPI-SL visés à l’article R. 322-33 du présent code, la documentation technique comporte en particulier :

1. Un dossier technique de fabrication constitué par :

a) Les plans d’ensemble et de détail de l’EPI-SL, accompagnés, le cas échéant, de notes de calculs et des résultats d’essais des prototypes, dans la limite de ce qui est nécessaire à la vérification du respect des exigences essentielles ;

b) La liste exhaustive des exigences essentielles de sécurité et de santé, et des normes harmonisées ou autres spécifications techniques prises en considération lors de la conception du modèle.

2. La description des moyens de contrôle et d’essais mis en œuvre dans l’unité de production du fabricant.

3. Un exemplaire de la notice d’information visée au point 1. 4 de l’annexe III-5.
