Article D132-28 of the French Intellectual Property Code

The provisions of this section apply to professional journalists, as defined by article L. 7111-3 of the Labour Code, who derive the majority of their income from the use of still images and who occasionally contribute to the production of a press title, as defined in Article L. 132-35 of the French Intellectual Property Code.

Les dispositions de la présente section sont applicables aux journalistes professionnels, tels que définis par l’article L. 7111-3 du code du travail, qui tirent le principal de leurs revenus de l’exploitation d’images fixes et qui collaborent de manière occasionnelle à l’élaboration d’un titre de presse, entendu au sens de l’article L. 132-35 du code de la propriété intellectuelle.
