Article D1332-36 of the French Public Health Code

The prefect shall inform the mayor of any observations he may have on the information mentioned in 1°, 2° and 3° of article D. 1332-35.

With regard to 1° of article D. 1332-35, the prefect’s observations are sent before the date set for the start of the bathing season.

These observations are communicated by the mayor to the person responsible for the bathing water concerned.

The person responsible for the bathing water responds without delay to the Prefect, as well as to the Mayor if the person responsible for the bathing water is not the local authority or a group of local authorities.

Le préfet fait connaître au maire le cas échéant ses observations sur les informations mentionnées aux 1°, 2° et 3° de l’article D. 1332-35.

En ce qui concerne le 1° de l’article D. 1332-35, les observations du préfet sont transmises avant la date prévue pour le début de la saison balnéaire.

Ces observations sont communiquées par le maire à la personne responsable de l’eau de baignade concernée.

La personne responsable de l’eau de baignade répond sans délai au préfet, ainsi qu’au maire si la personne responsable de l’eau de baignade n’est ni la commune ni le groupement de collectivités.
