Article D1411-30 of the French Public Health Code

I.-The Interministerial Committee for Health is responsible for :

1° Ensuring that the state of health of the population is improved and that inequalities in health are reduced;

2° Encouraging health education and health promotion to be taken into account in all public policies;

3° Ensuring that public health policies are coordinated at regional level.

II -To carry out its duties, the Committee, on the proposal of the Minister for Health :

1° Adopts an annual report on the state of health of the population and on inequalities in health ;

2° Monitors the development and implementation of action plans or programmes prepared by the ministers within the scope of their responsibilities, where the measures envisaged are likely to have a significant impact on the health of the population or on inequalities in health;

3° Adopts a summary of the activity reports of the public policy coordination commissions in the fields of prevention, school health, occupational health and maternal and child protection mentioned in article D. 1432-1 of the Public Health Code.

Article D1411-30

I.-Le comité interministériel pour la santé est chargé :

1° De veiller à l’amélioration de l’état de santé de la population et à la réduction des inégalités de santé ;

2° De favoriser la prise en compte de l’éducation pour la santé et la promotion de la santé dans l’ensemble des politiques publiques ;

3° De veiller à ce que la coordination des politiques publiques en faveur de la santé soit assurée au niveau régional.

II.-Pour l’exercice de ses missions, le comité, sur proposition du ministre chargé de la santé :

1° Adopte un rapport annuel sur l’état de santé de la population et sur les inégalités de santé ;

2° Suit l’élaboration et la mise en œuvre des plans ou programmes d’actions préparés par les ministres dans le cadre de leurs attributions lorsque les mesures envisagées sont susceptibles d’avoir un impact significatif sur la santé de la population ou sur les inégalités de santé ;

3° Adopte une synthèse des bilans d’activité des commissions de coordination des politiques publiques dans les domaines de la prévention, de la santé scolaire, de la santé au travail et de la protection maternelle et infantile mentionnées à l’article D. 1432-1 du code de la santé publique.
