The Minister for Health and the Director General of the National Public Health Agency must be informed without delay of any change in the conditions under which the national reference centre carries out its activities as set out in the specifications.
If a national reference centre wishes to cease carrying out its missions, it must inform the Minister for Health and the Director General of the National Public Health Agency at least six months before ceasing its activities.
At any time, in the event of a breach of the obligations resulting from this section, on a proposal from the Director General of the National Public Health Agency, and after obtaining the opinion of the Committee of National Reference Centres, a national reference centre, an “associated national reference centre-laboratory” or a “national reference centre-expert laboratory” may be suspended or removed from the list by order of the Minister for Health.
