La commission recueille les éléments d’information nécessaires à l’exercice de ses missions, notamment à l’évaluation de la politique de prévention et de promotion de la santé et à l’élaboration du schéma régional de santé.

Elle fait connaître à ses membres et aux administrations de l’Etat ses besoins en termes de travaux statistiques et d’études.
