Two alternate members are appointed under the same conditions as the full members, for those mentioned in 4° and 5° of article D. 1432-1.

The Commission may decide unanimously to admit additional members, chosen from among the other financial contributors to prevention and health promotion at regional level.

In order to carry out the tasks assigned to it by 2° of Article L. 1432-1, the Commission : 1° May decide on work to be carried out to contribute to the development of the regional health project, in particular the regional health plan ; 2° Promotes, on the basis of the strategic orientation framework and the regional health plan, the complementarity of actions in the fields of prevention, school…

The Commission gathers the information it needs to carry out its tasks, in particular to evaluate the prevention and health promotion policy and to draw up the regional health plan. It informs its members and government departments of its needs in terms of statistics and studies.

The Commission gathers the information required to carry out its duties, in particular to evaluate the policy implemented to support people losing their independence and to draw up the regional health plan and the programme mentioned in article L. 312-5-1 of the Code of Social Action and Families. It informs its members and government departments of its needs in terms of statistics and studies.
