Article D147-46 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

Where the sentence enforcement judge has, pursuant to the provisions of article 721-2, ordered that the sentenced person be subject to certain control measures or prohibitions for a period equal to all or part of the reductions in sentence from which he or she has benefited, the sentenced person shall be informed, at the time of his or her release, of the possibility of withdrawal provided for by the sixth paragraph of I and the third paragraph of II of this article.

This information is provided by the prison governor using a form given to him for this purpose.

Article D147-46

Lorsque le juge de l’application des peines a, en application des dispositions de l’article 721-2, ordonné que le condamné soit soumis à certaines mesures de contrôle ou à certaines interdictions pendant une durée égale à tout ou partie des réductions de peine dont il a bénéficié, le condamné est informé, au moment de sa libération, de la possibilité de retrait prévue par le sixième alinéa du I et le troisième alinéa du II de cet article.

Cette information est faite par le chef d’établissement pénitentiaire au moyen d’un formulaire qui lui est remis à cette fin.
