The local committee provided for in Article L. 1711-3 is called the local preparatory committee for the work of the advisory commission on the assessment of charges.
It is chaired by the president of the Mayotte regional audit chamber or by his deputy, whom he appoints from among the chamber’s magistrates.
It also comprises:
1° Four representatives of the Department of Mayotte appointed by the General Council;
2° Two representatives of the municipalities, appointed by the Mayotte Mayors’ Association;
3° Six representatives of the decentralised State services, including the Secretary General of the Prefecture, the Regional Director of Public Finance and four civil servants from the State services in Mayotte, appointed by order of the State representative in Mayotte.
A deputy for each member is appointed under the same conditions as the titular member.
The term of office is three years.
In the event of the death or resignation of one of the representatives or when one of them loses the capacity by virtue of which he or she was appointed, he or she is replaced under the conditions provided for in this article and for the remainder of the term of office.
