Article D211-83 of the French Sports Code

For the application of article L. 211-4, a training centre is any structure set up by an association or the sports company it has set up which enables young sportsmen and sportswomen over the age of fourteen during the year of their enrolment in the training centre to benefit, on the one hand, from sports training leading to professional practice of their discipline and, on the other hand, from school or vocational education or university training.

Pour l’application de l’article L. 211-4, constitue un centre de formation toute structure mise en place par une association ou la société sportive qu’elle a constituée permettant à de jeunes sportifs de plus de quatorze ans au cours de l’année de leur inscription dans le centre de formation de bénéficier, d’une part, d’une formation sportive permettant d’accéder à une pratique professionnelle de leur discipline et, d’autre part, d’un enseignement scolaire ou professionnel ou d’une formation universitaire.
