Article D214-11 of the French Cinema and Moving Image Code

The period provided for in Article L. 214-7 is set at :
1° One year for screenings mentioned in 1°, 4° and 5° of article L. 214-1;
2° Six months for screenings mentioned in 2° of article L. 214-1;
3° Six months for screenings mentioned in 3° of article L. 214-1, with the exception of screenings of cinematographic works previewed or previously screened as part of a festival;
4° One year for screenings mentioned in 6° of article L. 214-1, including when they also fall within the scope of 2° and 3° of this article.

Le délai prévu à l’article L. 214-7 est fixé à :
1° Un an pour les séances mentionnées aux 1°, 4° et 5° de l’article L. 214-1 ;
2° Six mois pour les séances mentionnées au 2° de l’article L. 214-1 ;
3° Six mois pour les séances mentionnées au 3° de l’article L. 214-1, à l’exception de celles qui consistent dans la représentation d’œuvres cinématographiques en avant-première ou préalablement représentées dans le cadre d’un festival ;
4° Un an pour les séances mentionnées au 6° de l’article L. 214-1, y compris lorsqu’elles entrent également dans le champ d’application des 2° et 3° de cet article.
