Article D2261-4-2 of the French Labour Code

Members are appointed for a term of four years and may not be removed. Members whose term of office is interrupted for any reason whatsoever are replaced under the same conditions as their predecessors, within two months for the remainder of their term of office.

Le mandat des membres est d’une durée de quatre ans et n’est pas révocable. Ceux des membres dont le mandat est interrompu, pour quelque cause que ce soit, sont remplacés dans les mêmes conditions de désignation que leurs prédécesseurs, dans le délai de deux mois pour la durée du mandat restant à courir.
