The Advisory Board is chaired by the Prefect of Police. The latter has the casting vote in the event of a tie.
The advisory board meets at least twice a year at the initiative of the police prefect.
The advisory board may hear civil servants and agents of the police prefecture and officers of the Paris fire brigade in charge of files on which it is called upon to issue an opinion.
La commission consultative est présidée par le préfet de police. Celui-ci a voix prépondérante en cas de partage des voix.
