Within one month of receiving the complete application for classification, the body mentioned in article L. 141-2 will take the classification decision if the assessment body mentioned in article D. 312-4 has issued a favourable opinion on classification.
Classification is granted for a period of five years.
If, before the end of the five-year period provided for in the previous paragraph, the operator has completed the formalities required for his establishment to be inspected by an assessment body in accordance with Article D. 312-5, his classification will be temporarily maintained until notification of the new classification decision. If the inspection is not carried out, the assessing body shall immediately inform the body referred to in Article L. 141-2, which shall notify the operator by any means that the duration of its classification has expired.
