Harm reduction support centres for drug users enter into an agreement with an addiction treatment, support and prevention centre or with a pharmacist holding a dispensary, relating to the supply of medicines on the list referred to in article D. 3121-33-4.
This agreement specifies, in particular, the conditions under which the pharmacist or doctor in charge of holding, managing and dispensing the medicines in the addiction treatment, support and prevention centre or the dispensing pharmacist with whom the agreement is made, provides assistance with the proper management, particularly with regard to the withdrawal or recall of batches, the traceability of batches of medicines supplied and the monitoring of expiry dates, the proper use of medicines intended for drug users, and the reporting to the regional pharmacovigilance centre of any adverse reactions suspected to be due to a medicine.
The agreement is sent by the harm reduction support centre for drug users to the Director General of the Regional Health Agency.
