Article D3231-3 of the French Labour Code

The minimum growth wage applicable to young workers under the age of eighteen is reduced by :
1° 20% Before the age of seventeen;
2° 10% Between the ages of seventeen and eighteen.
This reduction is waived for young workers with six months’ professional experience in the branch of activity to which they belong.

Le salaire minimum de croissance applicable aux jeunes travailleurs de moins de dix-huit ans comporte un abattement fixé à :
1° 20 % Avant dix-sept ans ;
2° 10 % Entre dix-sept et dix-huit ans.
Cet abattement est supprimé pour les jeunes travailleurs justifiant de six mois de pratique professionnelle dans la branche d’activité dont ils relèvent.
