Article D331-4 of the French Tourism Code

The opening of a serviced camping and caravanning site may only be authorised if it is located in a healthy area and on condition that the facilities comply at least with those determined by the decrees mentioned in article D. 332-1.

L’ouverture d’un terrain aménagé de camping et caravanage ne peut être autorisée qu’en cas d’implantation dans des lieux salubres et à la condition que les installations soient au moins conformes à celles déterminées par les arrêtés mentionnés à l’article D. 332-1.
