Article D4153-17 of the French Labour Code

I.-It is prohibited to assign young people to work involving the preparation, use, handling or exposure to hazardous chemical agents defined in articles R. 4412-3 and R. 4412-60, with the exception of hazardous chemical agents which fall solely within one or more of the hazard categories defined in sections 2.4, 2.13, 2.14 and parts 4 and 5 of Annex I to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008.

II -The prohibition mentioned in I may be waived under the conditions and in the form laid down in Section 3 of this chapter.

I.-Il est interdit d’affecter les jeunes à des travaux impliquant la préparation, l’emploi, la manipulation ou l’exposition à des agents chimiques dangereux définis aux articles R. 4412-3 et R. 4412-60, à l’exception des agents chimiques dangereux qui relèvent uniquement d’une ou de plusieurs des catégories de danger définies aux sections 2.4, 2.13, 2.14 et aux parties 4 et 5 de l’annexe I du règlement (CE) n° 1272/2008.

II.-Il peut être dérogé à l’interdiction mentionnée au I dans les conditions et formes prévues à la section 3 du présent chapitre.
