Article D4311-45 of the French Public Health Code

The State diploma of nurse anaesthetist is awarded by the regional prefect to holders of the State diploma of nurse or of another qualification enabling them to practise this profession or to holders of the State diploma of midwife or of another qualification enabling them to practise this profession who, after passing the admission tests, have attended and validated the theoretical and practical courses as well as the work placements that make up the training.

Le diplôme d’Etat d’infirmier anesthésiste est délivré par le préfet de région aux personnes titulaires du diplôme d’Etat d’infirmier ou d’infirmière ou d’un autre titre permettant l’exercice de cette profession ou aux personnes titulaires du diplôme d’Etat de sage-femme ou d’un autre titre permettant l’exercice de cette profession qui, après réussite à des épreuves d’admission, ont suivi un enseignement et ont validé les enseignements théoriques et pratiques ainsi que les stages constitutifs de la formation.
