Article D4331-2 of the French Public Health Code

The State Occupational Therapist Diploma is awarded by the regional prefect to people who have completed a course of training and passed the theoretical and practical courses, as well as the work placements that make up the training.

This diploma may be obtained by validating experience, the organisational procedures for which are laid down by order of the Minister for Health.

Le diplôme d’Etat d’ergothérapeute est délivré par le préfet de région aux personnes qui ont suivi une formation et validé les enseignements théoriques et pratiques ainsi que les stages constitutifs de la formation.

Ce diplôme peut être obtenu par la validation des acquis de l’expérience dont les modalités d’organisation sont fixées par arrêté du ministre chargé de la santé.
