Speech and language therapy students complete their work placement with a speech and language therapist, known as the “maître de stage”.

This placement is either with a speech and language therapist in private practice, or with a speech and language therapist working in a public or private not-for-profit health establishment. In this case, the trainee works under the responsibility of the head doctor or medical director of the establishment where the trainee works.

Article D4341-6
