Article D4443-25 of the French Public Health Code

The State representative checks that the declaration of candidacy is in order, pursuant to articles D. 4443-23 and D. 4443-24. He checks that the candidates meet the conditions defined in article D. 4443-20. A registration receipt is issued to each of the candidates in the regular application. The State representative notifies each of the candidates in the irregular application pair of his refusal to register by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt, at the latest within five days of the application being submitted.

Le représentant de l’Etat contrôle la régularité de la déclaration de candidature en application des articles D. 4443-23 et D. 4443-24. Il contrôle que les candidats satisfont aux conditions définies à l’article D. 4443-20. Un reçu d’enregistrement est délivré à chacun des candidats du tandem de la candidature régulière. Le représentant de l’Etat notifie à chacun des candidats du tandem de la candidature irrégulière son refus d’enregistrement par lettre recommandée avec demande d’avis de réception au plus tard dans les cinq jours du dépôt de la candidature.
