Article D4443-26 of the French Public Health Code

Each pair of candidates may draw up a circular and have it sent to the electorate, provided that the following conditions are met:

1° Each pair of candidates may have only one circular sent to the electorate on a sheet of paper no larger than 210 x 297 mm ;

2° This circular, written in French, may only be devoted to the presentation of the tandem of candidates on whose behalf it is circulated and to matters falling within the remit of the Disciplinary Board or concerning its operation;

3° The circular is sent at the same time as the declaration of candidacy to the State representative, who checks that these conditions are met.

The circular deemed admissible is sent to the voters at the same time as the voting material.

If the State representative finds that the circular is inadmissible, he notifies each of the candidates in the tandem that the circular has been rejected.

Chaque tandem de candidats peut rédiger et faire envoyer aux électeurs une circulaire sous réserve de satisfaire aux conditions suivantes :

1° Chaque tandem de candidats ne peut faire envoyer aux électeurs qu’une seule circulaire sur un feuillet qui ne peut dépasser le format 210 x 297 mm ;

2° Cette circulaire, rédigée en français, ne peut être consacrée qu’à la présentation du tandem des candidats au nom desquels elle est diffusée et à des questions relevant de la compétence de la chambre de discipline ou concernant son fonctionnement ;

3° La circulaire est adressée en même temps que la déclaration de candidature au représentant de l’Etat qui contrôle le respect de ces conditions.

La circulaire jugée recevable est envoyée aux électeurs en même temps que le matériel de vote.

Lorsque le représentant de l’Etat constate l’irrecevabilité de la circulaire, il notifie le rejet de la circulaire à chacun des candidats du tandem.
