Article D4443-27 of the French Public Health Code

Voting takes place by post. At least fifteen days before the election, the representative of the State shall send the electors :

1° The dates and times of the opening and closing of the ballot ;

2° Voting instructions and materials;

3° The list of pairs of candidates drawn up in alphabetical order of the names of the titular candidates, based on a letter drawn by lot;

4° Where applicable, the circulars mentioned in article D. 4233-26.

Le vote a lieu par correspondance. Quinze jours au moins avant l’élection, le représentant de l’Etat envoie aux électeurs :

1° Les dates et heures d’ouverture et de clôture du scrutin ;

2° Les instructions et le matériel de vote ;

3° La liste des tandems de candidats établie par ordre alphabétique des noms des candidats titulaires, à partir d’une lettre tirée au sort ;

4° Le cas échéant, les circulaires mentionnées à l’article D. 4233-26.
