Article D4443-32 of the French Public Health Code

The chairman of the polling station shall draw up and sign a report of the vote count.

As soon as this report has been drawn up, the result of the vote is announced by the president of the polling station. It is published in the official gazette of New Caledonia or French Polynesia.

In the event that an insufficient number of full members and alternates can be declared elected, a new electoral consultation shall be held with a view to appointing the missing members in the same manner or under the conditions provided for in the second paragraph of article L. 4443-3.

Le président du bureau de vote établit et signe un procès-verbal des opérations de dépouillement.

Dès l’établissement de ce procès-verbal, le résultat du vote est proclamé par le président du bureau de vote. Il est publié au journal officiel de la Nouvelle-Calédonie ou de la Polynésie française.

Au cas où ne peuvent être proclamés élus qu’un nombre insuffisant de titulaires et de suppléants, il est procédé à une nouvelle consultation électorale en vue de la désignation des membres manquants dans les mêmes formes ou dans les conditions prévues au deuxième alinéa de l’article L. 4443-3.
