When the procedure of simultaneous countersignatures is applied, the minutes are signed by the magistrate and his clerk, then transmitted by fax or electronic means to the place where the person heard is present, to be signed by that person alone. This document is immediately returned to the magistrate using the same procedure. The original of the document signed by the person heard is then transmitted by any means to be attached to the record of the proceedings.
The various versions of the minutes bearing the original signatures of the persons present at each of the places are kept in the record of the proceedings.
The same applies, where applicable, to the collection of the interpreter’s signature.
