Article D47-18 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

Informing the curator or guardian of decisions to dismiss, acquit or convict as provided for in the fourth paragraph of Article 706-113 is made by registered letter or in accordance with the procedures set out in Article 803-1.

The curator or guardian is informed by registered letter or in the manner provided by article 803-1, by the public prosecutor or his delegate, of the execution of a penal composition.

L’information du curateur ou du tuteur des décisions de non-lieu, de relaxe, d’acquittement ou de condamnation prévue par le quatrième alinéa de l’article 706-113 est faite par lettre recommandée ou selon les modalités prévues par l’article 803-1.

Le curateur ou le tuteur est informé par lettre simple ou selon les modalités prévues par l’article 803-1, par le procureur de la République ou par son délégué, de l’exécution d’une composition pénale.
