Article D48-28 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

The Public Prosecutor shall terminate the enforcement of the financial penalty as soon as he is informed by the competent authority of the issuing State of any measure or decision which has the effect either of depriving the financial penalty of its enforceability or of removing its enforcement from the French authorities.

Le procureur de la République met fin à l’exécution de la sanction pécuniaire dès qu’il est informé par l’autorité compétente de l’Etat d’émission de toute mesure ou décision qui a pour effet soit de retirer son caractère exécutoire à la sanction pécuniaire, soit de soustraire son exécution aux autorités françaises.
