Article D49-44-1 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

The provisions of this Code applicable before the Criminal Appeals Chamber and its President, and in particular those relating to withdrawals of appeal or late appeals or appeals that have become moot, are applicable before the Sentence Enforcement Chamber of the Court of Appeal and its President, subject to the specific provisions laid down by this chapter or by the articles 712-11 to 712-22.

Les dispositions du présent code applicables devant la chambre des appels correctionnels et son président, et notamment celles relatives aux désistements d’appel ou aux appels tardifs ou devenus sans objet, sont applicables devant la chambre de l’application des peines de la cour d’appel et son président, sous réserve des dispositions particulières prévues par le présent chapitre ou par les articles 712-11 à 712-22.
